Hi, I'm Jay! I'm the director at PERFECT X HAIR. 
 
I was born in South Korea and moved to BC, Canada in 2012 while I was still in high school. From 2016 to 2018, I began my career as a hair stylist at a local salon in BC. To further hone my skills, especially in mastering Asian hair, I joined and worked at a high-end salon in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea and attended premium academy classes from 2018 to 2022.
 
After spending time in South Korea learning advanced techniques for Asian hair, I came back to Canada and settled down. Since then, I've worked at a Japanese salon and a local Canadian salon, where I was able to gain more experience styling non-Asian hair and met many amazing clients!
 
I love my job with all my heart. I'm excited everyday to meet clients who are looking for new hair styles. I will give you the best-fitting, tailored design personalized for you to make your day more special!

Hi, I’m Alice! I was born and raised in Canada and have spent about 10 years in the beauty industry. My journey began with a passion for skincare and makeup, eventually leading me into the world of hair. One of my most memorable experiences was when I was a Consultant for Sephora and was given the opportunity to model for their North American campaign.

 

Though I loved my time in the world of makeup and skincare, I found my true passion in 2019 when I delved into hairstyling. After training at one of Canada’s top hair schools, I worked in Yorkville under a Celebrity stylist, who was an absolute master at lived-in looks and sun-kissed balayages. It was here that I truly grasped the basics and foundation of hair colouring. Following that, I was fortunate enough to join Lisa Dinh Hair Studio, which was an absolute dream come true. At LDHS, I was able to learn the techniques I had always admired: transforming dark heads of hair to stunning blondes.

 

I specialize in dimensional and transformational balayages, but I also love a good blowout!

Hi, I'm Katie! I’m a Korean hairstylist living in Toronto with a passion for hair transformations. Inspired by my mother, who was a talented stylist in Korea, I pursued a career in cosmetology, earning my certification and gaining experience in Seoul. In 2019, I moved to Canada, where I’ve worked in various downtown Toronto salons, honing my skills with both Asian and non-Asian hair.
 
My specialty lies in transforming severely damaged hair through advanced bleach techniques, including lifting black dye. I pride myself on blending Korean and Canadian hairstyling methods to create beautiful, healthy hair.
 
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my pets, relaxing with a well-crafted cocktail, and learning new languages. This helps me to better connect with my diverse clientele!

Hi, I’m Anna! I was born in Korea and since I was young, I’ve been very interested in the beauty industry. For the past 11 years, I’ve been working as a hairstylist, starting from when I was in high school.

 

When I lived in Korea, I worked at JUNO HAIR in the Myeongdong district, a popular spot for many foreigners. There I developed a passion for spreading K-beauty to the world.

 

Recently, I had the opportunity to live abroad and have been working for about a year and a half in Toronto. This has allowed me to gain experience working with clients from many different backgrounds.

 

My strengths as a hairstylist are that I can style a wide variety of hair, regardless of texture or ethnicity. Also, my years of experience in Korea allows me to understand and execute Korean styles very well. I’m so happy to be able to consult with you about your hairstyle, and I can’t wait to meet you soon!
